The situation hasn&#8217;t just been tough for Nintendo fans, either.  Xbox players missed out on <strong>Street Fighter 5<\/strong> last generation due to Capcom doing a deal with Sony &#8211; making it exclusive to the PlayStation.<\/p>\n<p>Fortunately, things are looking up for console players who don&#8217;t happen to own a PlayStation device.  After concerns this trend could continue with the next generation systems, Capcom today confirmed the new game &#8211; <strong>Street Fighter 6<\/strong> &#8211; would be coming to both the PlayStation 5 and Xbox Series X | S in 2023. It&#8217;s also getting a PC release.<\/p>\n<p>Based on the reveal trailer, Street Fighter 6 appears to be mixing things up a little with an &#8220;immersive single-player story experience&#8221; and Battle Hub where you seemingly run around exploring in between fights.  Ryu, Chun-Li and various other characters will also return, along with some new ones, too.<\/p>\n<p>While you probably shouldn&#8217;t be expecting any SF6 announcements for Switch, if Nintendo does release a beefier console in the future, perhaps Capcom will consider a port now that this new game has also been confirmed for the Xbox.  In the meantime, Nintendo gamers can fall back on the <strong>Capcom Fighting Collection<\/strong>which arrives later this month and even includes a few classic Street Fighter games in it.<\/p>\n<p>Apart from this information, Capcom has also updated SF6&#8217;s logo after it was accused of being an Adobe Stock Graphic.
