The carmaker has revealed a new logo and a new naming series for its vehicles, with the brand planning to launch the Electra in North America in 2024.<\/p>\n

General Motors announced last year that it would be leaving internal combustion engines for good by the next decade. GM vowed to have an all-EV lineup by 2035, and that means its brands will follow suit. In response to this, Buick<\/strong> has just announced a bold move – it is reinventing itself as an all-electric brand.<\/p>\n

New Name Series, New Logo, New Design DNA<\/h2>\n

The Buick brand is actually committing to an all-electric future by the end of the decade, which would see a brand-wide transformation. To set up that all-electric future, Buick has revealed a new logo, a new naming series for its vehicles, as well as a new design DNA for its future vehicles. The brand is planning to launch its first EV in North America in 2024, carrying the new \u201cElectra\u201d name.<\/p>\n

As part of its transformation, Buick is ditching its circular logo it has been using since 1980. While the tri-shield still remains, each shield is now unlinked from each other in a sleek, horizontally aligned layout. Buick will start mounting the new badge on the front end of new vehicles starting 2023.<\/p>\n

Buick has also introduced a new global brand design language, which it showcased with its new Buick Wildcat EV concept.<\/p>\n
