Ahead of the film’s 4K and Blu-ray release on June 14, Sony has made the odd decision to bring Daniel Espinosa<\/strong>‘s (Life<\/em>) Marvel vampire movie Morbius<\/em><\/strong> back to the big screen.<\/p>\n

Beginning today, June 3, Morbius<\/em> is back on over 1,000 screens in the United States. The film was originally released in theaters on April 1, pulling in $ 73.3 million domestically.<\/p>\n

Worldwide, Morbius<\/em> has thus far taken a bite out of $ 163.3 million.<\/p>\n

So why is Morbius<\/em> being brought back to life? Many are speculating that the film’s newfound meme status is to blame, with Sony looking to capitalize on the \u201cmorbin time\u201d trend.<\/p>\n
