The film was originally released in theaters on April 1, pulling in $ 73.3 million domestically.<\/p>\n<p>Worldwide, <em>Morbius<\/em> has thus far taken a bite out of $ 163.3 million.<\/p>\n<p>So why is <em>Morbius<\/em> being brought back to life?  Many are speculating that the film&#8217;s newfound meme status is to blame, with Sony looking to capitalize on the \u201cmorbin time\u201d trend.<\/p>\n<p>Hey, it&#8217;s 2022. Nothing really surprises us anymore\u2026<\/p>\n<p>&#8220;One of the most compelling and conflicted characters in Sony Pictures Universe of Marvel Characters comes to the big screen as Oscar\u00ae winner <strong>Jared Leto<\/strong> transforms into the enigmatic antihero Michael Morbius.  Dangerously ill with a rare blood disorder and determined to save others suffering his same fate, Dr. Morbius attempts a desperate gamble.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cWhile at first it seems to be a radical success, a darkness inside him is unleashed.
