If you are still hopeful for new hardware before the end of the current fiscal year, you might be out of luck.  According to the latest Nikkei report, there <em>won&#8217;t<\/em> be any new Nintendo hardware for this period.<\/p>\n<p>This information comes courtesy of Bloomberg reporter Takashi Mochizuki, but it&#8217;s unclear if this is Nikkei&#8217;s own reporting or a comment directly from Nintendo President Shuntaro Furukawa, who Nikkei interviewed.<\/p>\n<aside class=\"object object-tweet\">\n<blockquote class=\"twitter-tweet\" align=\"center\"><p><span lang=\"en\" dir=\"ltr\">Nikkei: there will be no new Nintendo hardware this fiscal year, which ends in March 2023. There&#8217;s also been some conversation about possible price increases &#8211; fortunately, Nintendo has no plans to raise the cost of the Switch.
