There are still rumors floating about that Nintendo could potentially be gearing up for some sort of hardware reveal.<\/p>\n

To mark the fifth anniversary of the Switch most recently, the company announced a Splatoon-themed Switch OLED. it wasn’t exactly<\/em> what everyone was hoping for. If you are still hopeful for new hardware before the end of the current fiscal year, you might be out of luck. According to the latest Nikkei report, there won’t<\/em> be any new Nintendo hardware for this period.<\/p>\n

This information comes courtesy of Bloomberg reporter Takashi Mochizuki, but it’s unclear if this is Nikkei’s own reporting or a comment directly from Nintendo President Shuntaro Furukawa, who Nikkei interviewed.<\/p>\n
