Money can’t buy class, but it can buy a feud.

Lisa Rinna posted – and then deleted – screenshots late Thursday of Instagram direct messages purportedly sent between Bravo fan account Your Moms Are Watching and marketing manager Patrick Somers that suggested Kathy Hilton paid him to plant negative stories about the Rinna Beauty founder.

“I have tea. I just DMed with Patrick Somers, that kid that sent Rinna a text last weekend threatening her, ”Your Moms Are Watching’s initial post began.

“Rinna then posted the text and the kid posted Rinna’s number and it became a big thing. Well, he just admitted to me KATHY HILTON PAID HIM TO DO THIS. …. Turns out he made everything up just to divert focus from the fact that Lisa was calling out Kathy for the slurs she made in Aspen. “

The fan account then posted the messages in which Somers allegedly claims that the name of the “Real Housewives of Beverly Hills” star who hired him rhymes with “Milton” and that he was “given one job: to pull attention away from my client. I did that… I was given a couple of specifics to make sure I hit our marketing strategy. “

Somers also claimed in the messages that he needed to “pull attention away from what was going on,” so he planted stories about a fake lawsuit and fake show.

Following the social media exposé, Somers took to his own account to release a statement on the job he was hired to do – and for which he was paid handsomely.

“My latest assignment was executed against Lisa Rinna. I never reveal a clients [sic] personal information per my NDA agreement, ”his message began.

“My latest marketing campaign was to draw attention away from my client .. That’s exactly what I did. All narratives associated with my latest campaign are false. I was compensated $ 27,527.72 for my work. “

Somers goes on to admit all stories were “planted” by him and that there is “no lawsuit” and “no new reality show.”

“And frankly I’ve never met Lisa Rinna,” he concludes.

However, sources on both Rinna’s and Hilton’s sides deny any involvement with this Somers character.

A rep for Hilton and Bravo didn’t immediately return Page Six’s request for comment.

RadarOnline reported in February that Hilton had a “meltdown” during the Bravo cast’s trip to Aspen, Colo., In January. Shortly thereafter, rumors began swirling that the off-camera fiasco may have involved Hilton’s alleged use of a gay slur – which Rinna and Erika Jayne, 50, were said to have brought back to the group.

Their co-star Sutton Stracke subsequently denied Hilton used a gay slur while talking about her assistant.
