While Jared Leto is known for his seriousness and commitment to his roles, the actor is acknowledging the Morbius<\/strong> memes and decided to have some fun with the character’s \u201cIt’s Morbin ‘time\u201d catchphrase that doesn’t actually exist.<\/p>\n

In a video posted to Leto’s social media, Leto is seen reading a secretive script. It winds up being revealed to be Morbius 2: It’s Morbin ‘Time<\/strong> and is written by \u201cBartholomew Cubbins,\u201d a Dr. Seuss character that Leto often uses as his directorial pseudonym. Whether or not we get a Morbius 2<\/strong> remains up in the air, but the memes will live forever.<\/p>\n

Based on the character created by writer Roy Thomas and artist Gil Kane in 1971, Morbius<\/strong> saw the introduction of Jared Leto as Marvel’s anti-hero Morbius the Living Vampire. Joining him were Matt Smith (Doctor Who<\/strong>) as Milo, Adria Arjona (Good Omens<\/strong>) as Martine Bancroft, Jared Harris (The Crown<\/strong>) as Morbius’ mentor, and Tyrese Gibson (Fast and the Furious<\/strong>) as an FBI Agent, while Michael Keaton reprised his role as Adrian Toomes \/ Vulture from Spider-Man: Homecoming<\/strong>.<\/p>\n

“One of Marvel’s most compelling and conflicted characters comes to the big screen as Jared Leto transforms into the enigmatic antihero Michael Morbius,” reads the synopsis. “Dangerously ill with a rare blood disorder and determined to save others suffering his same fate, Dr. Morbius attempts a desperate gamble. While at first it seems to be a radical success, a darkness inside him is unleashed. Will good override evil – or will Morbius succumb to his mysterious new urges di lui?<\/p>\n

Morbius<\/strong> was directed by Daniel Espinosa (Safe House<\/strong>) from a script by Burk Sharpless and Matt Sazama.<\/p>\n<\/div>\n
