This time took a little bit longer.<\/p>\n
The result, however, was similar.<\/p>\n
OU’s offense adjusted to the pitcher it was facing in a clear way, got rolling and once again, the Sooners rolled to a win at the Women’s College World Series.<\/p>\n
Saturday, it was Texas’ Hailey Dolcini the Sooners adjusted to and the result wasn’t quite as dramatic but still powerful, as OU moved within one win of the championship series with a 7-2 victory over the Longhorns in the winner’s bracket Saturday at USA Softball Hall of Fame Stadium.<\/p>\n
OU (56-2) advances to Monday’s 11 am semifinal where they’ll take on the winner of Sunday’s matchup between UCLA and the loser of Saturday’s late game between Oklahoma State and Florida.<\/p>\n
Texas (44-20-1) will face Arizona in an elimination game at 6 pm Sunday. <\/p>\n
The Sooners got to Dolcini quickly, as a Jayda Coleman double and Jocelyn Alo’s 118th career home run put OU ahead 2-0 just two batters into the contest.<\/p>\n
