Gerber said in a statement posted online.<\/p>\n<p>&#8220;We extend our deepest sympathies to Ann&#8217;s family and to anyone who had the pleasure of knowing her,&#8221; it added.<\/p>\n<p>A sketch of Cook&#8217;s baby face has been the iconic Gerber logo for more than 90 years.<\/p>\n<div data-paragraph-id=\"paragraph_E2AE9712-F20E-8C5E-41C7-30DA3317687B\">It all started with a contest that the company held to find a face for a baby food advertising campaign, according to the Gerber website. <\/div>\n<div>\n<p>Dorothy Hope Smith, a neighbor of Cook&#8217;s family, turned in a charcoal sketch she had drawn of Cook and said she would finish it if she won, according to the site.<\/p>\n<div class=\"el__embedded el__embedded--fullwidth\">\n<div class=\"el__image--fullwidth js__image--fullwidth\">\n<div><noscript><img alt=\"Gerber baby food products are seen on a supermarket shelf on April 12, 2007, in New York City. \" class=\"media__image\" src=\"https:\/\/i0.wp.com\/cdn.cnn.com\/cnnnext\/dam\/assets\/220604183219-02-ann-turner-cook-original-gerber-baby-dies-large-169.jpg?ssl=1\" data-recalc-dims=\"1\"\/><\/noscript><\/div>\n<\/div>\n<\/div>\n<p>The judges of the contest &#8220;fell in love with the baby face,&#8221;
