Adidas and two of its biggest golf stars, Dustin Johnson and Sergio Garcia, have recently parted ways. Johnson, who was the reigning Masters champion, and Garcia, who won the 2017 Masters, had both been sponsored by Adidas since the beginning of their respective careers.<\/p>\n
Adidas announced the news of the split with Johnson on the eve of the LIV opener, saying that the two parties had mutually agreed to end their partnership. Johnson had been with Adidas since 2013 and was a major part of the company\u2019s golf campaigns.<\/p>\n
Sergio Garcia\u2019s contract with Adidas was not renewed. Garcia had been with the company for over a decade and had won multiple major championships while wearing the three stripes.<\/p>\n
