The Van Horn Josenberger football team had an impressive win over Grambling on Saturday, September 7th. The team had a strong start, taking an early lead and never looking back. Van Horn’s defense was the star of the show, limiting Grambling to just seven points and holding them to just over 200 yards of total offense.<\/p>\n
Offensively, Van Horn was led by quarterback Ryan Wilcox, who threw for over 200 yards and two touchdowns. He was aided by a strong running game, with running back Jaden Smith leading the way with over 90 yards and a touchdown. Wide receivers Chase Brown and Deon Brown also had big days, combining for over 100 yards and two touchdowns.<\/p>\n
The Van Horn defense was the real story, however. They held Grambling to just seven points and forced two turnovers. Linebacker Ryan Davis led the way with seven tackles, two sacks and an interception. Cornerback Tyreece Diggs also had a big day, recording an interception and a forced fumble.<\/p>\n
