Auburn defeats Florida State 21-7 in the winner’s bracket game of the Auburn regional. In a weird twist, Auburn was the road team despite hosting the regional.<\/p>\n
The Tigers scored at least one run in seven of the nine innings they had at-bats. Broady Moore reached base in each of his seven plate appearances. Moore had two walks and five hits against the Seminoles.<\/p>\n
Auburn hitters attacked FSU starter Bryce Hubbart early causing him to throw several pitches. Hubbart had an early exit. He allowed four hits, a homer, a double, and three walks during 2 1\/3 innings.<\/p>\n

Gonzalez ends with a final line of six innings, four earned runs, four hits, four walks, and three strikeouts. He got charged with two earned runs when pinch hitter Treyton Rank blasted a home run off the scoreboard at Plainsman Park on a fastball from reliever Carson Swilling.<\/p>\n

Broady Peirce scored on an error by Seminole shortstop Jordan Carrion for the Tigers’ second run of the inning.<\/p>\n
Auburn scored two runs on a Brooks Carlson single. Carlson got credited with one RBI since the right fielder made an error picking up the ball.<\/p>\n

Auburn takes a 3-0 lead on a two-run homer by Brooks Carlson off Bryce Hubbart. Carlson’s homer drove in Sonny DiChiara, who reached base on an error.<\/p>\n
Hubbart leaves the game after throwing 68 pitches through 2 1\/3 innings. Hubbart allowed four hits, a homer, a double, and three walks.<\/p>\n
Broady Moore attempted to score from first on a Kason Howell double to leftfield. James Tibbs corraled the ball and hit relay man second baseman Brett Roberts, who threw a laser to catcher Colton Vincent. Moore slid into Vincent’s leg, missing the plate, and was tagged out.<\/p>\n
Auburn called for a review, but the out was upheld. Auburn leads 3-0 after the top of the third.<\/p>\n

Gonzalez got the next two Seminoles out on popups before Martin got caught stealing.<\/p>\n

Auburn is hosting the game, but the Tigers will hit first against Seminole starter Bryce Hubbard.<\/p>\n
Blake Rambusch flew out to centerfield in the first at-bat of the game. Cole Foster drew a walk after a lengthy at-bat against Hubbart.<\/p>\n
All-American Sonny DiChiara lines a single past the mound and over second base into centerfield. Foster moves to second.<\/p>\n
Hubbard records his first strikeout that Bobby Peirce swung through on an 0-2 count.<\/p>\n
Brooks Carlson was called out after reviewing him getting hit by a pitch. Carlson went to first as instructed by the umpires, but FSU skipper Mike Martin Jr asked for a review. Umpires deliberated and determined Carlson’s elbow was over the plate and called the pitch strike three.<\/p>\n
Auburn goes from bases loaded with two outs to the inning being over after Carlson’s strikeout.<\/p>\n

Hubbart is 8-2 and has a 3.18 ERA over 73 2\/3 innings pitched. He also has 94 strikeouts to 18 walks.<\/p>\n
The Tigers are 23-9 at Plainsman Park after Friday’s 19-7 victory against Southeastern Louisiana. Auburn has won 11 of its last 13 games at home.<\/p>\n
