Former Cloud9 and current Twitch streamer Macaiyla has recently been banned for a long enough time that she felt like she needed to apologize to her fans. The 23-year-old Twitch personality has also made it clear that her latest punishment di lei could be the wake-up call she needed.

While getting into trouble with the streaming platform can be a badge of honor for some of the personalities on the site, it doesn’t appear that’s ever really been the goal of Macaiyla. While she has had her fair share of issues over the year, she’s not really considered someone like Amouranth, who routinely gets accused of going and looking for drama. However, the popular streamer finds herself in a bit of hot water with the platform, and barring a reversal of her most recent ban di lei, she’ll be taking an extended break from the site.

The Twitter account, StreamerBans was the first to break the news about Macaiyla, announcing she had been banned, though as is its practice, it didn’t divulge just how long she would be sitting out. The streamer herself confirmed not long after that she had indeed suffered a suspension and noted that it was for a full two weeks. She also made it clear that she will be appealing the ban and hoping to get back on the air sooner.

In acknowledging the ban, the popular Twitch streamer admitted she was hit with the punishment for “hateful conduct towards a group” while also claiming that it wasn’t towards Koreans or Asians. Beyond that, Macaiyla wouldn’t clarify if she knew which group she was accused of spewing hate toward or what the context of the allegation was.

The popular girlfriend of fellow Twitch streamer Tyler1 apparently had to make it clear that this ban wasn’t geared towards hate speech about Koreans or Asians because it wasn’t that long ago she came under fire for her thoughts regarding the well-known Korean dish , Pho. In a previous tweet, Macaiyla commented about how she hated the smell of Pho and seemed to hint that the meat in the dish was dog, which in turn caused quite a bit of angry comments on social media directed at her take di lei.

Apparently not being among those on Twitch’s do no ban list, Macaiyla is having to make things right following her recent suspension, and she has expressed regret for her actions from time to time. In a subsequent tweet, the streamer said she was glad she got banned because she’s “going to be 24 this year,” and she said that she needed to stop “acting this way.” Those comments still left just what actions led to the Twitch ban a mystery.
