Furthermore, the film only dropped 32% from its $ 160 million opening weekend and has now seen, according to Comscore, the &#8220;smallest second-weekend decline for a movie that opened to $ 100 million or more.&#8221;<\/p>\n<p><output class=\"article-video-container\"\/><\/p>\n<p>For comparison, Spider-Man: No Way Home and Doctor Strange in the Multiverse of Madness declined 67% in their second weekends and The Batman dropped 50%. <\/p>\n<p>Internationally, Top Gun: Maverick has crossed $ 257 million and has done its part to help the film reach $ 548 million globally. <\/p>\n<section data-transform=\"object-feedback\"\/>\n<p>Maverick had little in the way of competition, but David Cronenberg&#8217;s Crimes of the Future did have a limited release and it brought in $ 1.1 million from 773 theaters domestically.  Maverick, on the other hand, was playing in 4,751 theaters.<\/p>\n<p><output class=\"article-video-container\"\/><\/p>\n<p>Doctor Strange in the Multiverse of Madness took second place with $ 9.3 million domestically, bringing its global tally to $ 909.4 million globally.
