The Kentucky Wildcats pulled off an impressive 82-74 win over the Florida Gators on Saturday night, in a game that featured an impressive box score. The Wildcats had four players in double figures, led by Nick Richards with 24 points and 11 rebounds. Immanuel Quickley added 16 points and seven assists, and Tyrese Maxey and EJ Montgomery chipped in with 11 points each.<\/p>\n
The Wildcats shot an impressive 50.9% from the field, and held the Gators to just 38.3%. Kentucky also outrebounded Florida 37-31 and forced 16 turnovers, which they converted into 16 points.<\/p>\n

The Wildcats were able to hold off the Gators late in the game, thanks in part to the team’s strong defense. Kentucky held Florida to just 11 points in the fourth quarter, and forced eight turnovers in the period. The Wildcats also held the Gators to just one made three-pointer in the entire second half.<\/p>\n
The Wildcats’ victory was a big one, as it moved them to 18-5 on the season and 8-2 in the SEC. The Gators, meanwhile, fell to 14-9 and 5-5 in the conference. With the win, the Wildcats moved into sole possession of second place in the SEC standings.<\/p>\n
