After being traded to the Minnesota Twins in February, the former Houston Astros shortstop is looking forward to reuniting with some familiar faces in the Twin Cities. Correa is also setting his sights on a successful 2023 season.<\/p>\n<p>The Twins traded for Correa in a surprise move this offseason, and the 27-year-old is excited to join a team with a strong winning tradition. Correa is familiar with the Twins organization, having grown up in Puerto Rico and watching Minnesota stars like Joe Mauer and Justin Morneau. Correa is also looking forward to reuniting with former Astros teammates Nelson Cruz and Marwin Gonzalez, who also joined the Twins this offseason.<\/p>\n<p>Correa is eager to get back on the field and help the Twins reach their goals for the upcoming season. He is already working hard to improve his game, focusing on his defense and hitting. Correa is also looking to become a leader on the team, taking on a mentorship role for younger players.<\/p>\n<p>In addition to his work on the field, Correa is also setting his sights on a successful 2023 season. Correa is hoping to build on the success he had in Houston, where he was an All-Star in 2015 and 2017.
