{"id":41468,"date":"2022-06-08T05:13:23","date_gmt":"2022-06-08T05:13:23","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/harchi90.com\/prey-will-be-the-first-ever-film-with-a-full-dub-in-the-comanche-language\/"},"modified":"2022-06-08T05:13:23","modified_gmt":"2022-06-08T05:13:23","slug":"prey-will-be-the-first-ever-film-with-a-full-dub-in-the-comanche-language","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/harchi90.com\/prey-will-be-the-first-ever-film-with-a-full-dub-in-the-comanche-language\/","title":{"rendered":"Prey Will Be the First Ever Film With a Full Dub in the Comanche Language"},"content":{"rendered":"<div id=\"\">\n<p>The upcoming Predator prequel, Prey will be the first film ever to get a full dub in Comanche.<\/p>\n<p>During an interview with ComicBook.com, producer Jhane Myers explained why the film is going to break language barriers.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cWe do have like Comanche throughout the film,\u201d she explained.  &#8220;But when you first choose to watch the film, this will be the first time that the Comanche language, and I&#8217;m Comanche, by the way, this will be the first time that our language is in a full dub and also subtitled for the whole film. &#8220;<\/p>\n<p><output class=\"article-video-container\"\/><\/p>\n<p>The new Predator film takes the franchise back 300 years, pitting the iconic alien hunters against the Comanche tribe in a historical sci-fi like no other.<\/p>\n<p>A brief plot outline reads: &#8220;Set in the world of the Comanche Nation 300 years ago, the action-thriller follows Naru, the skilled warrior who fiercely protects her tribe against a highly evolved alien predator.&#8221;<\/p>\n<section data-transform=\"object-feedback\"\/>\n<p>The new movie has been in the works for a few years, with director Dan Trachtenberg at the helm. But here we are, this movie resets a whole lot of paradigms, and one of them is the language component. &#8220;<\/p>\n<p>The upcoming Predator prequel will debut on Hulu on August 5, 2022, with no theatrical release.<\/p>\n<p>Prey will star Amber Midthunder as Naru, alongside Dakota Beavers, Stormee Kipp, Dane DiLiegro, and Stefany Mathias.
