Is Aaron Rodgers alluding to where things may have gone south in his personal life?<\/p>\n

Speaking to reporters on Tuesday, Rodgers – who reported to the first day of Green Bay’s mandatory minicamp – opened up about the conversations he had with Packers brass and how communicating improved relations, unlike that of a troubled romance.<\/p>\n

\u201cI’m not saying it was hand-to-hand combat, but it was just some real serious heart-to-hearts. As someone who loves this franchise so much, I felt it was important to share my opinions on some things about how this place can continue to improve and get better long after I’m done, “Rodgers said of the” direct conversations “had with Packers president Mark Murphy, GM Brian Gutekunst and salary-cap specialist Russ Ball.<\/p>\n

\u201cI saw some really positive things with everybody involved. It wasn’t like this, you’re in a relationship and your partner is telling you that you’re the cause of all the problems, that wasn’t what I was doing. It was a lot of issues and potential solutions and I’m very proud to be part of the solution and those three, especially, were a part of the solution as well, \u201dthe 38-year-old quarterback continued.<\/p>\n

Rodgers, who is returning for his 18th season in Green Bay, was previously engaged to actress Shailene Woodley, with the two reportedly calling it quits for good in April. Prior to his romance with the \u201cDivergent\u201d star, Rodgers dated former NASCAR driver Danica Patrick for two years, with the pair splitting up in 2020. He was also in a relationship with actress Olivia Munn from 2014-17.<\/p>\n

The reigning NFL MVP appears to be whistling a much different tune this year compared to last when he skipped mandatory minicamp over issues with the culture in Green Bay. Rodgers added Tuesday that he’s grateful certain conversations were had. <\/p>\n

\u201cLook, some conversations had to be had and I’m happy they were had and I appreciated the honesty and there were a lot of direct conversations,\u201d he said. “I haven’t really shied away from conflict during my time here because I feel like it leads to a resolution that’s usually positive for the organization and for everybody involved.” <\/p>\n

Rodgers is locked into Green Bay for the foreseeable future after signing a three-year $ 150.8 million extension in March. He also told reporters on Tuesday he \u201cdefinitely\u201d wants to finish his career with the Packers.<\/p>\n<\/p><\/div>\n
