And of course there’s always the wireless router you can check, which typically has the password on a sticker label. As long as your Windows or Mac computer has connected to the network before, the Wi-Fi password is permanently stored there. It may require a bit of digging in your settings, but all of the passwords are there, saved, and ready to be shared with anyone who wants to connect to Wi-Fi.<\/p>\n

How to find Wi-Fi passwords in MacOS<\/h2>\n

Every password you’ve entered and saved on a Mac is stored in Keychain Access, the password management system for MacOS. And that includes Wi-Fi network passwords. <\/p>\n

To start, use the search feature to open the Keychain Access app and do the following:<\/p>\n

1<\/strong>. Click on System<\/strong> under System Keychains<\/strong> in the sidebar.<\/p>\n

2<\/strong>. Next, click on Passwords<\/strong> at the top of the window.<\/p>\n

3<\/strong>. Find the Wi-Fi network you want the password for and double-click on it.<\/p>\n

4<\/strong>. Finally, check the box next to Show password <\/strong>and enter your password when prompted.<\/p>\n
