{"id":49332,"date":"2022-06-13T22:27:24","date_gmt":"2022-06-13T22:27:24","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/harchi90.com\/neil-patrick-harris-boards-doctor-who-deadline\/"},"modified":"2022-06-13T22:27:24","modified_gmt":"2022-06-13T22:27:24","slug":"neil-patrick-harris-boards-doctor-who-deadline","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/harchi90.com\/neil-patrick-harris-boards-doctor-who-deadline\/","title":{"rendered":"Neil Patrick Harris Boards &#8216;Doctor Who&#8217; &#8211; Deadline"},"content":{"rendered":"<div>\n<p><em>Doctor Who<\/em> has found its latest villain.<\/p>\n<p>Neil Patrick Harris, who starred in the long-running sitcom <em>How I Met Your Mother,<\/em> is joining the venerable BBC sci-fi series.<\/p>\n<p>Harris&#8217; character has not been revealed, though the British public broadcaster has unveiled a first-look photo of him on set, in an old-timey apron with what appears to be a pair of pliers.<\/p>\n<p>Showrunner Russell T Davies called his character the \u201cgreatest enemy the Doctor has ever faced\u201d.<\/p>\n<p>Harris, who is set to headline Darren Star&#8217;s Netflix comedy series <em>Uncoupled<\/em>joins new Doctor Ncuti Gatwa and <em>Heartstopper<\/em> breakout Yasmin Finney, who will play Rose, as well as returning stars David Tennant and Catherine Tate.<\/p>\n<p>&#8216;Uncoupled&#8217;: Neil Patrick Harris Smells The Roses In First Trailer For Netflix Comedy Series As Streamer Sets Premiere<\/p>\n<p><i>Doctor Who <\/i>is filming in Wales and will air in 2023 as part of the show&#8217;s 60th anniversary.<\/p>\n<p>Harris said on Instagram that he will &#8220;try my hardest to do my worst.&#8221;<\/p>\n<p>Davies added, \u201cIt&#8217;s my huge honor to open our studio doors for the mighty Neil Patrick Harris\u2026 but who, why, what is he playing?  You&#8217;ll just have to wait.  But I promise you, the stuff we&#8217;re shooting now is off the scale.
