IGN sources told us that Dragon’s Dogma 2 had been in development back in 2020, after a huge leak appeared to unveil many of Capcom’s unannounced projects. While games are regularly canceled while in development, many are hopeful that creator Hideaki Itsuno (best known for his work on Devil May Cry) will return to his bizarre open world RPG world.<\/p>\n

2022 marks Dragon’s Dogma’s 10th anniversary, and has become a cult favorite. At release, we awarded the game a 7.5 \/ 10 review, saying, “if you can persist, there’s a lot to love here, and some great ideas that make you want to give it a chance.” We spoke to Itsuno in 2019 about the cult appeal of the game, where he said, “We consider Dragon’s Dogma to be an important franchise … But there’s nothing more I can say right now.”<\/p>\n
