Elizabeth Banks is allowing herself to have a blast while on her summer vacation in Greece this month.<\/p>\n

On Thursday the Pitch Perfect 2 director told her Instagram followers that she was indulging in some of her favorite foods: ‘I decoded cheese, wine, and chocolate were more important on this trip than a flat tummy.’<\/p>\n

The 48-year-old siren was seen walking up a path by the shore while in a cute little blue-and-white bikini.<\/p>\n

Her figure looked incredible with sculpted arms, long lean legs and a tiny waistline.<\/p>\n

She wore aviator sunglasses with her hair back and she laughed with one hand raised.<\/p>\n

Earlier this month she posed in a red cherry print bikini.<\/p>\n

In a fun new Instagram video shared to her Instagram grid, the Hunger Games actress shared an edited clip of herself arriving at the airport donning a denim jacket and a straw hat, while laden down with luggage.<\/p>\n

And after walking through the airport door and magically arriving at her sun-soaked destination, Elizabeth stripped off her clothes for a holiday appropriate bikini. <\/p>\n

Her sunny getaway came in the middle of a very busy period in the Pitch Perfect actress’ career. <\/p>\n

Banks will star in the movie Call Jane which is set for release in October 2022. The movie centers on a woman who joins an underground organization that helps women get abortions. <\/p>\n

While she’s stayed very busy in her career in recent years, the Modern Family actress still puts aside time to spend with her family. <\/p>\n

Banks met sportswriter Max Handelman in college while attending the University of Pennsylvania. They married in 2003. <\/p>\n

The couple share two children: 11-year-old Felix and nine-year-old Magnus. <\/p>\n

Her new movie Cocaine Bear will be released in 2023.<\/p>\n

The star’s upcoming thriller – inspired by the true story of a drug runner’s plane crash in 1985 which led to a black bear eating a bag full of cocaine – is set to hit the big screen with a cast featuring Keri Russell and Margo Martindale.<\/p>\n

Universal has confirmed the movie – also starring Ray Liotta, Alden Ehrenreich, O’Shea Jackson Jr. and more – will be released on February 24, 2023.<\/p>\n

Jimmy Warden has penned the script for the ‘character-driven thriller inspired by true events that took place in Kentucky in 1985’.<\/p>\n

According to a New York Times article in 1985, the bear was found dead among 40 opened containers with traces of cocaine, apparently dropped from a plane by a convicted drug smuggler because he was carrying too heavy a load while parachuting.<\/p>\n

Filming for the project wrapped in November last year, with co-producer Chris Miller congratulating the director at the time.<\/p>\n

He tweeted: ‘Big congrats to @ElizabethBanks & her team, amazing cast & crew, on wrapping principal photography of COCAINE BEAR!<\/p>\n

Banks previously helmed the 2019 take on Charlie’s Angels, but claimed that the film’s poor performance at the box office showed that men are unlikely to watch female-led action films.<\/p>\n

She said: ‘They’ll go and see a comic book movie with Wonder Woman and Captain Marvel because that’s a male genre.<\/p>\n

‘So even though those are movies about women, they put them in the context of feeding the larger comic book world, so it’s all about, yes, you’re watching a Wonder Woman movie but we’re setting up three other characters or we ‘re setting up Justice League.<\/p>\n

‘If this movie doesn’t make money it reinforces a stereotype in Hollywood that men don’t go see women do action movies.’<\/p>\n

However, critics argued that the movie was just not well crafted with poor character development and that the theme was too ‘woke.’ <\/p>\n<\/div>\n
