Especially during football practice.<\/p>\n<p>But Nebraska head coach Scott Frost sounded pleased when he told the Huskers Radio Network on Thursday that he typically sees &#8220;15-20 vomits every day from offensive linemen&#8221; at practice under new assistant coach Donovan Raiola.<\/p>\n<div class=\"caas-pull-quote-wrapper caas-img caas-lazy\" data-src=\"\">\n<blockquote class=\"caas-blockquote\">\n<p>&#8220;He&#8217;s coaching them hard,&#8221; Frost said.  &#8220;And it&#8217;s not because they&#8217;re not in shape \u2013 he&#8217;s just working them hard. I think they love it. He&#8217;s kind of freed them up to go be aggressive and I love the way they&#8217;re coming off the ball.\u201d<\/p>\n<\/blockquote>\n<\/div>\n<p>Raiola joined Frost&#8217;s staff this season after three years in the NFL as the Chicago Bears&#8217; assistant offensive line coach.  He also coached at Aurora University, Notre Dame and Hawaii following a six-year playing career in the NFL and United Football League.<\/p>\n<p>Frost better hope all the hard training pays off for the Cornhuskers this season.  Nebraska is 15-27 under Frost since 2018 and has yet to qualify for a bowl game during his tenure as head coach.  Frost recently named Texas transfer Casey Thompson as the team&#8217;s starting quarterback;  he started 12 games for the Longhorns in 2021 with 24 touchdowns to nine interceptions.<\/p>\n<figure class=\"caas-figure\">\n<div class=\"caas-figure-with-pb\" style=\"max-height: 639px\">\n<div>\n<div class=\"caas-img-container caas-img-loader\" style=\"padding-bottom:67%;\"><noscript><img alt=\"Scott Frost likes what he's seen from Nebraska's new coaches this summer. Frost also hired former Pittsburgh assistant Mark Whipple as the team&#8217;s offensive coordinator as well as former LSU assistant Mickey Joseph as the team&#8217;s receivers coach and associate head coach.<\/p>\n<p>Nebraska decided to keep Frost on this season despite his record by agreeing to a restructured contract that dropped Frost&#8217;s 2022 salary from $5 million to $4 million and his buyout from $15 million to $7.5 million.<\/p>\n<p>Frost and the team were hit with a small NCAA violation in May for employing a special teams analyst who \u201cprovided technical or tactical instruction\u201d to players during practice and film sessions.  Frost was given a one-year show-cause penalty and will serve a five-day suspension from all coaching activities during the 2022 season.
