And to participate, you&#8217;ll need to download the <strong>Splatfest World Premiere<\/strong> demo from the eShop.  You can&#8217;t get into the demo yet, but you can at least now pre-install it so you&#8217;re all ready for the big day!<\/p>\n<p>Head on over to the Switch eShop (UK, US) to download the demo now.  If you&#8217;ve already pre-ordered it, this should download automatically when you boot your Switch up and when it&#8217;s connected to the internet.  (Thanks for the tip, WoomyNNYes!)<\/p>\n<p>The Splatfest takes place on 27th August, but you&#8217;ll be able to dive into the demo from <strong>25th August<\/strong> (we&#8217;ll remind you, don&#8217;t worry!).  You&#8217;ll get a chance to check out some of the game&#8217;s tutorials, practice the basics, and explore the city of Splatsville.  You&#8217;ll also get to pick your team.<\/p>\n<p>The first vote this year is between rock, paper, and scissors \u2014 and the Splatfest actually takes place on World Rock Paper Scissors Day!  Those sneaky squids.<\/p>\n<p>Don&#8217;t forget, the full game is out on 9th September, but this demo \u2014 and the Splatfest \u2014 should give you time to get a feel for the ink once again!<\/p>\n<p><em>Will you be downloading the demo and taking part in next week&#8217;s Splatfest?
