Giancarlo Stanton<\/strong> is beginning a rehab assignment today, per Lindsey Adler of The Athletic (via Twitter<\/a>). Before this latest injury, Stanton had been enjoying a run of sound health. For the season, Stanton has appeared in 80 games, slashing .228\/.309\/.498 with 24 home runs in 328 plate appearances.
