Aqib Talib won’t be joining Amazon’s \u201cThursday Night Football\u201d broadcast team after all.<\/p>\n

Aqib told the NFL Network’s Ian Rapoport on Sunday that, following the earlier this month, he will be stepping away from his role with Amazon.<\/p>\n

Aqib was set to join Amazon as an analyst for its \u201cThursday Night Football\u201d coverage this season.<\/p>\n

earlier this month and is now facing murder charges after he allegedly shot and killed a youth football coach. Aqib was present for the incident, and that Aqib actually instigated the fight by crossing the field during a game and confronting referees.<\/p>\n

Aqib played in the league for 12 seasons from 2008-2019, first with the Tampa Bay Buccaneers before spending time with the New England Patriots, Denver Broncos and Los Angeles Rams. The 36-year-old defensive back was named a Pro Bowler five times and won a Super Bowl with the Broncos.<\/p>\n

Aqib spent time with Fox as an analyst after retiring from the NFL in 2020, too.<\/p>\n
