{"id":52477,"date":"2022-08-22T02:49:46","date_gmt":"2022-08-22T02:49:46","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/harchi90.com\/aqib-talib-splits-with-amazon-after-brother-allegedly-shot-killed-youth-football-coach\/"},"modified":"2022-08-22T02:49:46","modified_gmt":"2022-08-22T02:49:46","slug":"aqib-talib-splits-with-amazon-after-brother-allegedly-shot-killed-youth-football-coach","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/harchi90.com\/aqib-talib-splits-with-amazon-after-brother-allegedly-shot-killed-youth-football-coach\/","title":{"rendered":"Aqib Talib splits with Amazon after brother allegedly shot, killed youth football coach"},"content":{"rendered":"<div>\n<p>Aqib Talib won&#8217;t be joining Amazon&#8217;s \u201cThursday Night Football\u201d broadcast team after all.<\/p>\n<p>Aqib told the NFL Network&#8217;s Ian Rapoport on Sunday that, following the earlier this month, he will be stepping away from his role with Amazon.<\/p>\n<p>Aqib was set to join Amazon as an analyst for its \u201cThursday Night Football\u201d coverage this season.<\/p>\n<p>  earlier this month and is now facing murder charges after he allegedly shot and killed a youth football coach.  Aqib was present for the incident, and that Aqib actually instigated the fight by crossing the field during a game and confronting referees.<\/p>\n<p>  after the shooting that he was \u201cvery distraught and devastated.\u201d<\/p>\n<div class=\"caas-pull-quote-wrapper caas-img caas-lazy\" data-src=\"\">\n<blockquote class=\"caas-blockquote\">\n<p>\u201cAqib Talib was present when this unfortunate incident occurred and is very distraught and devastated over this terrible loss of life,\u201d his lawyer said.  \u201cHe would like to convey his condolences to the family of the victim and to everyone who witnessed this unfortunate tragedy.\u201d<\/p>\n<\/blockquote>\n<\/div>\n<p>Aqib played in the league for 12 seasons from 2008-2019, first with the Tampa Bay Buccaneers before spending time with the New England Patriots, Denver Broncos and Los Angeles Rams.
