Wedding cake might have been a sweeter treat.<\/p>\n

Casey Affleck and his girlfriend, Caylee Cowan, were busy bees over the weekend \u2014 doing everything except attend his brother Ben and Jennifer Lopez’s wedding in Georgia.<\/p>\n

The \u201cManchester by the Sea\u201d star and Cowan were seen grabbing ice cream at Van Leeuwen in Los Feliz Saturday while the \u201cArgo\u201d actor and \u201cWaiting for Tonight\u201d singer tied the knot.<\/p>\n

Earlier in the day, 47-year-old Casey also made a Starbucks run where he told paparazzi that he had \u201cother things\u201d to do than travel to the South. It turns out, those \u201cthings\u201d were grabbing some cones and taking his last Atticus to soccer practice. <\/p>\n

In a since-deleted comment underneath Casey’s Instagram tribute to Bennifer 2.0, Cowan gave the Boston native’s true plans away.<\/p>\n

\u201cHey, if you weren’t in town Saturday to take Atty to soccer practice then who would’ve helped the kid who broke his arm?\u201d she wrote.<\/p>\n

\u201cYou’re a good man. I love you.”<\/p>\n

On Monday, Casey seemingly hinted that his last Indiana was gearing up to depart for college. <\/p>\n

\u201cYou are ready for this,\u201d Casey wrote in an emotional caption alongside a photo of the pair playing in the water when Indiana was a tot. \u201cYou are uniquely wonderful, full of integrity, courage, and kindness. You will be an improvement to the land of ‘grownups.’<\/p>\n

\u201cAnd if you go out into the world with curious amazement and sincere gratitude, the world will (eventually) meet you with the same,\u201d he continued.<\/p>\n<\/p><\/div>\n
