As well as the <u>Hogwarts Legacy Deluxe Edition<\/u> content, which offers mounts, cosmetics, and 72 hours of early access to the game, the Collector&#8217;s Edition comes with a steel book case and a life-size &#8216;floating&#8217; wand that sits atop a base fashioned after a magical tome.  The whole package will ship in a Collector&#8217;s Edition box, emblazoned with the game&#8217;s logo.<\/p>\n<aside class=\"hawk-nest\" data-render-type=\"fte\" data-skip=\"dealsy\" data-widget-type=\"seasonal\"\/>\n<p>While the EB Games listing appears to have shown up early &#8211; the game&#8217;s official <a rel=\"nofollow noopener\" href=\"https:\/\/twitter.com\/HogwartsLegacy\/status\/1562157595477123075\" data-url=\"https:\/\/twitter.com\/HogwartsLegacy\/status\/1562157595477123075\" target=\"_blank\"><u>twitter account<\/u><\/a>  suggested the Collector&#8217;s Edition would be officially revealed today at 06:00 PT\/09:00 ET\/14:00 BST &#8211; it appears to be legit.  After the leak, the game&#8217;s community manager, Chandler Wood, took to Twitter, seemingly confirming the bundle&#8217;s contents, even while debunking another detail.<\/p>\n<div class=\"see-more see-more--clipped\">\n<blockquote class=\"twitter-tweet hawk-ignore\" data-lang=\"en\">\n<p lang=\"en\" dir=\"ltr\">That pricing is not correct in USD.  You&#8217;re looking at a conversion of a different region&#8217;s pricing.<a rel=\"nofollow noopener\" href=\"https:\/\/twitter.com\/FinchStrife\/status\/1562276153804484608\" data-url=\"https:\/\/twitter.com\/FinchStrife\/status\/1562276153804484608\" target=\"_blank\">August 24, 2022<\/a><\/p>\n<\/blockquote>\n<p><span class=\"see-more__button\">See more<\/span><\/p>\n<\/div>\n<p>the <u>EB Games listing<\/u> says that the Hogwarts Legacy Collector&#8217;s Edition will set players back just under AUS$500.  A quick currency conversion, then, would imply that the bundle will set players back around $350 in the US, or a little under \u00a3300 in the UK.  That had some players concerned, but Wood confirmed that &#8220;that pricing is not correct in USD,&#8221; and that the conversion of the Australian price is not accurate.  The inflated price in the region is a result of a much higher tax bracket, regularly applied to computer hardware and software, including video games, which can significantly drive up prices.<\/p>\n<p>Later on, Wood <a rel=\"nofollow noopener\" href=\"https:\/\/twitter.com\/FinchStrife\/status\/1562285701126795264\" target=\"_blank\" data-url=\"https:\/\/twitter.com\/FinchStrife\/status\/1562285701126795264\">confirmed<\/a><span class=\"sr-only\">  (opens in new tab)<\/span> GamesRadar+&#8217;s reporting on Hogwarts Legacy&#8217;s pre-orders, which stated that the USD price of the Collector&#8217;s Edition would be $300.  While that&#8217;s not quite as expensive as the conversion implied, it&#8217;s still enough that some players are committing to the deluxe edition &#8211; as one fan <a rel=\"nofollow noopener\" href=\"https:\/\/twitter.com\/ImMagnetz\/status\/1562334960027156480\" target=\"_blank\" data-url=\"https:\/\/twitter.com\/ImMagnetz\/status\/1562334960027156480\">put it<\/a><span class=\"sr-only\">  (opens in new tab)<\/span>&#8220;I&#8217;m not about to drop half the price of a PS5 just for some stuff that will ultimately end up gathering dust on my shelf.&#8221;<\/p>\n<p><em>Although she is not involved in the development of Hogwarts Legacy, GamesRadar+ acknowledges the role of JK Rowling in the creation of the Wizarding World, as well as her publicly-stated, harmful views regarding the rights of transgender people.
