In response, the company has now revealed that it&#8217;s definitely thinking about creating a successor to the original Steam Deck. <\/p>\n<p>Yesterday, Valve released a 50-page booklet about the Steam Deck.  As pointed out by <a rel=\"nofollow noopener\" href=\"https:\/\/twitter.com\/Wario64\" target=\"_blank\">@Wario64<\/a>in a section of the booklet titled &#8220;The Future: more Steam Decks, more SteamOS,&#8221; Valve reveals its plans to support the Steam Deck for years through both new hardware and software versions.<\/p>\n<p>&#8220;In the future, Valve will follow up on this product with improvements and iterations to hardware and software, bringing new versions of Steam Deck to market,&#8221; the booklet reads.<\/p>\n<p><output class=\"widget-container\"><\/p>\n<div class=\"jsx-862123036 slideshow-preview\">\n<p>The 10 Best Steam Deck Games<\/p>\n<div class=\"jsx-862123036 images-container\"><button type=\"button\" aria-label=\"Open Slideshow\" class=\"jsx-862123036 hero-image\"><\/p>\n<div class=\"jsx-3600606818 aspect-ratio-container aspect-ratio-16-9\">\n<div class=\"jsx-3600606818 aspect-ratio-child\"><img decoding=\"async\" alt=\"The Steam Deck is a powerful little handheld capable of playing a lot of amazing games.  OK, well it's not that little, but it makes up for its bulky size with sheer power and Steam's endless library of software.  For our Top 10 Steam Deck Games list, we wanted to set up a few parameters for our recommendations, including the kind of games it's capable of running, how well it runs them, and portability.  \n\n Sure, you can run games like Vampire Survivors or Tunic on it, and we&#8217;ve sunk our fair share of hours into each, but part of the spectacle is that the Steam Deck can run huge triple-A games on the go.  There are a few caveats, of course.  Some of these games are pretty massive in file size or require an initial internet connection, and even some mild tweaking in the settings to get running well, but hey, it wouldn&#8217;t be PC gaming without those things after all.
