It has long been believed that the <em>Transformers<\/em> actor was fired from the thriller before the pop singer stepped in, but this week <u>LaBeouf has provided a conflicting story<\/u><u>.<\/u> LaBeouf says he quit the movie and seemingly provided a video of Wilde asking him to return to the project, which has now arrived online. <\/p>\n<p>A video file of Olivia Wilde speaking to Shia LaBeouf and asking him back on <em>Don&#8217;t Worry Darling<\/em> was sent to <u>variety<\/u> by LaBeouf alongside other alleged email correspondents between him and the actress-turned-director.  It has surfaced online, including all around <a rel=\"nofollow noopener\" href=\"https:\/\/twitter.com\/percystardust\/status\/1563208543917920258\" data-url=\"https:\/\/twitter.com\/percystardust\/status\/1563208543917920258\" target=\"_blank\"><u>twitter<\/u><\/a>, where it can be confirmed that Wilde sent LaBeouf a video message while driving in her car.  She starts the video by addressing \u201cShia\u201d before going on to say this: <\/p>\n<figure>\n<blockquote>\n<p>I feel like I&#8217;m not ready to give up on this yet, and I, too, am heartbroken and I want to figure this out.  You know, I think this might be a bit of a wake-up call for Miss Flo, and I want to know if you&#8217;re open to giving this a shot with me, with us.  If she really commits, if she really puts her mind and heart into it at this point and if you guys can make peace \u2014 and I respect your point of view, I respect hers \u2014 but if you guys can do it, what do you think ?  Is there hope?  Will you let me know?<\/p>\n<\/blockquote>\n<\/figure>\n<aside class=\"hawk-nest\" data-render-type=\"fte\" data-skip=\"dealsy\" data-widget-type=\"seasonal\"\/>\n<p>LaBeouf&#8217;s decision to forward past emails and the video communications between himself and Olivia Wilde follows the <em>Don&#8217;t Worry Darling<\/em> director making a statement earlier this week in a <u>variety<\/u> cover story that says Wilde \u201cmade the decision to fire\u201d him alongside a quote where she says that \u201chis process was not conductive\u201d to what she was looking for in the film and she had a \u201cresponsibility is to the production and to the cast to protect them.\u201d <\/p>\n<p>The leaked video, allegedly sent to Shia LaBeouf on August 19, 2020, two days after he claims he \u201cofficially\u201d quit the project due to inadequate time to rehearse seems to show that Wilde asked LaBeouf to return to <em>Don&#8217;t Worry Darling<\/em> and also cites some possibly tensions between him and the movie&#8217;s star, Florence Pugh. <\/p>\n<p>In addition to the developments from LaBeouf, there have previously been <u>rumors swirling about drama between Olivia Wilde and Florence Pugh<\/u>.  The actress known for her work in <em>midsommar<\/em> and <em>Black Widow<\/em> has also spoken out about<u> the movie&#8217;s sex scenes being an unnecessary focus<\/u> ahead of the film&#8217;s release.  Most recently, a New Line Cinema executive told <u>The Wrap<\/u> that Pugh will limit her press tour for the film while she continues to film <em>dune<\/em>fueling suspicions of tensions with the film further. <\/p>\n<p>Once Shia LaBeouf parted ways from <em>Don&#8217;t Worry Darling<\/em>, Harry Styles was then replaced in his role instead and Olivia Wilde and Styles began dating not soon after.  The couple, who remain together following <u>Wilde&#8217;s split from Jason Sudiekis<\/u>have been met with \u201ctoxic negativity\u201d online, especially since Wilde started as Styles&#8217; boss, which <u>Styles recently spoke to<\/u>.  <\/p>\n<p>Despite a number of contraversies now surrounding <em>Don&#8217;t Worry Darling&#8217;s<\/em> production, <u>there&#8217;s a lot to be excited about the thriller<\/u> also starring Chris Pine and Gemma Chan.
