Lindsay Hubbard and Carl Radke announced their engagement through people<\/a> on Sunday.<\/p>\n

The Summer House cast member, 37, popped the big question to his now-fiancee, 36, at Southhampton’s Dune Beach, and the proposal was also captured on camera for the program’s upcoming seventh season.<\/p>\n

The pair also sat down for an interview regarding their engagement, and the former of the two admitted that she was ‘still in shock!’ <\/p>\n

Hubbard recalled that Radke had told her that they were expected at a beach party with their friends, although she was met with a picnic for two. <\/p>\n

She said: ‘I got there and was like, “Umm, I’m starting to think we’re not having a bonfire.”‘ <\/p>\n

The reality television personality then expressed that he wanted to surprise his now-fiancee so he could express his true feelings for her.<\/p>\n

‘I grabbed the ring, got down on one knee, and I turned her around and told her I wanted to spend the rest of my life with her, how happy I was, and that our love story was just beginning,’ he said. <\/p>\n

Hubbard also made a point of remarking that she was prepared to tie the knot immediately after her now-fiance popped the big question.<\/p>\n

She recalled: ‘He said, “Hold on, let me get the ring” and I was like, “I don’t care! When should we get married? Now? I’m ready!”‘<\/p>\n

The reality television personality stated that she has since been enamored with her engagement ring. <\/p>\n

‘I don’t think I slept at all last night, I think I just stared at this ring. It’s gorgeous. He really crushed it, it could not have been more perfect,’ she said.<\/p>\n

Hubbard and Radke celebrated their engagement by heading to dinner at Dockers Waterside Marina & Restaurant in the Hamptons, where they were joined by both their relatives and Summer House castmates. <\/p>\n

‘They were all surprised too because the entire house didn’t know it was happening \u2014 they also thought they were going to a bonfire,’ she said.<\/p>\n

The former of the pair went on to express that she was leaving her wedding plans open for the time being. <\/p>\n

‘I am very much of the mindset of, whichever way the universe wants to go with our timeline, I’ll follow,’ she said.<\/p>\n

Hubbard then stated that she and Radke were also open to the idea of \u200b\u200bwelcoming a child into their lives in the future. <\/p>\n

‘I threw my own timelines out the door, they do not exist. Whether a wedding or marriage comes first or a baby, it doesn’t matter. This is my life partner; we want all the same things together,’ she stated. <\/p>\n

The now-engaged couple previously confirmed that they were dating this past January. <\/p>\n
