Emma Heming quoted husband Bruce Willis while clapping back at haters who’ve been criticizing her \u201cgrief\u201d amid his aphasia battle.<\/p>\n

\u201cWhen you’re not allowed to talk grief, self-care or being human in the world on grief awareness day\u2026,\u201d the model wrote via her Instagram Story on Wednesday.<\/p>\n

\u201cMy gawd. But in the words of the great, philosophical, insightful Bruce Willis \u2026 ‘Ah, f\u2013k em.’\u201d<\/p>\n

Heming also shared screenshots of some of the many hateful comments she’s received. <\/p>\n

One called the 44-year-old a \u201cdrama queen,\u201d while another pointed out her and the actor’s age difference.<\/p>\n

\u201cWhen you marry an old man DECADES older than you are, you become their caregivers,\u201d the troll wrote. \u201cThat’s what you signed up for deal with it and stop complaining.\u201d<\/p>\n

A third told Heming to \u201cstop whining,\u201d noting that she would do \u201cjust fine\u201d with the 67-year-old actor’s money as another bashed her \u201cannoying \u2026 victim attitude.\u201d<\/p>\n

Heming shared her husband’s diagnosis in March, writing via Instagram that the \u201cArmageddon\u201d star’s cognitive abilities were \u201cimpacted\u201d by aphasia, which is characterized by difficulty understanding and expressing speech.<\/p>\n

Heming told her followers on Tuesday that she has been embarking on a \u201csummer of self-discovery\u201d in order to \u201clive along side\u201d her \u201cparalyzing\u201d grief.<\/p>\n

\u201c[I\u2019m] finding new hobbies, going out of my comfort zone and staying active,\u201d she captioned a video showcasing some of her recent activities.<\/p>\n

\u201cAs my step-daughter [Scout Willis] told me, grief is the deepest and purest form of love,\u201d Heming concluded. \u201cI hope you find some comfort in that too.\u201d<\/p>\n

She has previously spoken about the importance of taking care of herself while helping Bruce and their daughters, Mabel, 10, and Evelyn, 8.<\/p>\n

\u201cI don’t mother myself perfectly but I know that I have some basic baseline needs that are a must,\u201d Heming explained to The Bump in May, adding that she often \u201cstruggled\u201d with self-care.<\/p>\n

\u201cI put my family’s needs above my own,\u201d she said. \u201cThat amount of care for everyone else within my household had taken a toll on my mental health and overall health, and it served no one in my family.\u201d<\/p>\n<\/p><\/div>\n
