{"id":68063,"date":"2022-09-06T21:36:17","date_gmt":"2022-09-06T21:36:17","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/harchi90.com\/mike-tomlin-blames-cut-and-paste-for-steelers-qb-depth-chart-mix-up\/"},"modified":"2022-09-06T21:36:17","modified_gmt":"2022-09-06T21:36:17","slug":"mike-tomlin-blames-cut-and-paste-for-steelers-qb-depth-chart-mix-up","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/harchi90.com\/mike-tomlin-blames-cut-and-paste-for-steelers-qb-depth-chart-mix-up\/","title":{"rendered":"Mike Tomlin blames &#8216;cut and paste&#8217; for Steelers&#8217; QB depth chart mix-up"},"content":{"rendered":"<div>\n<aside class=\"single__inline-module alignleft\">\n<\/aside>\n<p>The Steelers made a dreaded \u201cclerical error\u201d when they listed their quarterback depth chart on Monday.<\/p>\n<p>That&#8217;s according to head coach Mike Tomlin, who clarified the situation on who will be backing up Mitchell Trubisky for the season opener against the Bengals on Sunday. <\/p>\n<p>Where the depth chart originally listed Mason Rudolph as the backup and rookie Kenny Pickett as third string, it will actually be flip-flopped, with Pickett backing up Trubisky.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cIt was a clerical error,\u201d Tomlin told reporters on Tuesday.  \u201cThat&#8217;s how the depth chart was listed at the start of training camp, so the cut and paste component was the cut and paste component.  I know you were hoping for a little bit more colorful explanation, but it is what is.
