(Photo: Getty; designed by Quinn Lemmers)<\/figcaption><\/p>\n<\/figure>\n<p><em>Because food connects us all, Yahoo Life is serving up a heaping plateful of table talk with people who are passionate about what&#8217;s on their menu in <\/em><em>deglazed<\/em><em>a series about food.<\/em><\/p>\n<p>Since exploding onto the scene in 2016 as Will Byers in the ultra-popular Netflix show, <em>Stranger Things<\/em>, Noah Schnapp has been a household name.  The &#8217;80s-themed thriller show is set to return on July 1 for the second part of its fourth season, and fans are on the edge of their couches waiting to see what&#8217;s going to happen to their favorite ragtag group of friends.<\/p>\n<p>And just like the most recent season of <em>Stranger Things<\/em>, food and all things tasty play a huge part in the 17-year-old actor&#8217;s life.  One of his favorite things to eat?  Pizza.<\/p>\n<p>But what kind of pizza would Schnapp want delivered from the Surfer Boy Pizza van?  While his go-to order is a classic cheese pie, he&#8217;s also a fan of heating things up.  &#8220;If I&#8217;m feeling a little spicy, I like a buffalo chicken pizza,&#8221; he says.  &#8220;I think it&#8217;s so good.&#8221;<\/p>\n<p>Off-screen, Scnhapp&#8217;s guilty pleasure is snacking on applesauce pouches from craft service table.  &#8220;I also love goldfish and of course my tbh (vegan hazelnut spread),&#8221; he adds.  &#8220;I love crunchy and I love a mix of salt and sweet. (Photo: Sprinkles)<\/figcaption><\/p>\n<\/figure>\n<p>Schnapp&#8217;s vegan hazelnut spread, tbh, led to his partnership with cupcake brand Sprinkles: Together they&#8217;re releasing an exclusive limited-time cupcake flavor starring the &#8220;better for you&#8221; version of a snack food classic.  The tbh Chocolate Hazelnut Cupcakes are only available on July 1 and 2 and will be sold in all Sprinkles bakeries nationwide.  &#8220;It&#8217;s a dark chocolate cake and then in the middle is just like oozing tbh,&#8221; he says of the sweet treat.  &#8220;Then [there is] cream cheese frosting on top.  I tried it and it is so good.&#8221;<\/p>\n<p>Though Schnapp doesn&#8217;t follow a vegan diet himself, he wanted tbh to be able to be enjoyed by everyone.  &#8220;I love that my hazelnut spread is vegan because I get so much feedback from people that say that they&#8217;re looking for a spread that&#8217;s good and also vegan,&#8221; he says.<\/p>\n<p><button class=\"link caas-button collapse-button\" aria-label=\"\" title=\"\" data-ylk=\"elm:readmore;slk:Story continues\">Story continues<\/button><\/p>\n<p>Schnapp&#8217;s love of salty-sweet snack combos would also come into play in his ideal TV binge-watching party with friends.  His table of goodies would include chips and salsa and a fun popcorn mix.  &#8220;Obviously popcorn, and I think something sweet,&#8221; he says, &#8220;maybe like M&#038;Ms to put with the popcorn. Honestly, popcorn and a show for me, and I&#8217;m set.&#8221;<\/p>\n<p>While he&#8217;s been acting for several years, Scnhapp sometimes still gets anxious.  What calms his heightened nerves is a comforting before-bed snack.  &#8220;Toast with peanut butter and tbh,&#8221; he says.  &#8220;I always have that before bed.&#8221;<\/p>\n<p>If he&#8217;s looking for a taste of home, Schnapp tries to channel a childhood favorite: his mom&#8217;s pasta.  &#8220;I love just like a good cake,&#8221; he says.  &#8220;A nice cake with red sauce is just perfect.&#8221;<\/p>\n<p>Schnapp says he&#8217;s not a picky eater and will eat anything, but there are two things he absolutely will not touch.  \u201cAnchovies and canned tuna,\u201d he says.  &#8220;I think that&#8217;s it. I&#8217;m pretty open to eating most things.<\/p>\n<p>So what&#8217;s on this &#8217;80s-inspired actor&#8217;s dinner party playlist?  &#8220;I think &#8216;Running Up that Hill&#8217; has to be mentioned,&#8221; says Schnapp.  &#8220;I think it&#8217;s my favorite song as well.
