He has a reported net worth of about $83 billion, which is down about 14% in the past year but still makes him the eighth-richest person in the country.  The Clippers are reportedly worth about $3.3 billion.<\/p>\n<p>New Denver Broncos owner and Walmart heir Rob Walton is second on the list, though he&#8217;s significantly behind Ballmer.  Walton is reportedly worth about $57 billion, down more than 16% in the past year.  Walton and his ownership group purchased the Broncos earlier this year for an American record $4.65 billion.<\/p>\n<p>Carolina Panthers and Charlotte FC owner David Tepper is third on the list at about $18.5 billion.  Memphis Grizzlies owner Robert Pera and New York Mets owner Steve Cohen round out the top five.<\/p>\n<p>Dallas Cowboys owner Jerry Jones \u2014 whose franchise is valued at $8 billion, the most in all of professional sports \u2014 is seventh on the list at about $16 billion, which is up nearly 76% in the past year.<\/p>\n<figure class=\"caas-figure\">\n<div class=\"caas-figure-with-pb\" style=\"max-height: 640px\">\n<div>\n<div class=\"caas-img-container caas-img-loader\" style=\"padding-bottom:67%;\"><noscript><img alt=\"Clippers owner Steve Ballmer\" src=\"https:\/\/s.yimg.com\/ny\/api\/res\/1.2\/4gRLI_ahMAUrMNrOcG4S6Q--\/YXBwaWQ9aGlnaGxhbmRlcjt3PTk2MDtoPTY0MA--\/https:\/\/s.yimg.com\/os\/creatr-uploaded-images\/2022-09\/3ca9b320-3f63-11ed-bdd5-192e8f0351bd\" class=\"caas-img\"\/><\/noscript><\/div>\n<\/div>\n<\/div>\n<p><figcaption class=\"caption-collapse\">Steve Ballmer has an estimated net worth of $83 billion, which makes him the eighth-richest American. He owns the Los Angeles Rams, Denver Nuggets, Colorado Avalanche, Colorado Rapids and Arsenal FC<\/p>\n<p>Philip Anschutz is the first NHL owner to appear on the list at No.  11. The Los Angeles Kings owner, who also owns the LA Galaxy, is worth about $11 billion.  He is just ahead of New England Patriots owner Robert Kraft.<\/p>\n<p>Rocco Commisso is the first international owner \u2014 outside of Kroenke and Jacksonville Jaguars and Fulham FC owner Shahid Kahn \u2014 on the list at No.  13.
