Lisa Kudrow has a new show lined up.<\/p>\n

The beauty will star in Taika Waititi’s Apple TV+ series Time Bandits, Deadline reported on Wednesday. The 59-year-old Friends actress will play a character named Penelope in the show. <\/p>\n

The comedienne joins a cast which already boasts Kal-El Tuck from Unseeing Evil, House star Charlyne Yi and Martyrs Lane actress Kiera Thompson. <\/p>\n

Deadline also reported that Apple has finally greenlit the project which has been in development since 2019. <\/p>\n

Taika will also direct the first two episodes of the series which follows ‘a young boy who discovers a time-traveling portal in his bedroom,’ according to the series’ IMDb page. <\/p>\n

The movie is based on Terry Gilliam’s 1981 movie of the same name which starred Sean Connery, John Cleese, Ian Holm and many more famous stars from Great Britain. <\/p>\n

Television heavyweights like Succession star Brian Cox, Breaking Bad actor Dean Norris and Nurse Jackie’s Edie Falco will star alongside Kudrow in the horror-comedy. <\/p>\n

She will also soon begin work on a Netflix project with Charlie Brooker, creator of Black Mirror. Details on that project have been kept under wraps so far. <\/p>\n

She’s also the narrator of Bright Futures, a television movie, currently in post-production. <\/p>\n<\/div>\n
