{"id":83140,"date":"2022-09-30T21:10:59","date_gmt":"2022-09-30T21:10:59","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/harchi90.com\/watch-yeah-yeah-yeahs-perform-burning-on-kimmel\/"},"modified":"2022-09-30T21:10:59","modified_gmt":"2022-09-30T21:10:59","slug":"watch-yeah-yeah-yeahs-perform-burning-on-kimmel","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/harchi90.com\/watch-yeah-yeah-yeahs-perform-burning-on-kimmel\/","title":{"rendered":"Watch Yeah Yeah Yeahs perform &#8216;Burning&#8217; on &#8216;Kimmel&#8217;"},"content":{"rendered":"<div data-td-block-uid=\"tdi_95\">\n<div class=\"tdb-block-inner td-fix-index\">\n<p>Yeah Yeah Yeahs performed their single &#8216;Burning&#8217; on the latest episode of <em>Jimmy Kimmel Live!<\/em>lifted from their new album &#8216;Cool It Down&#8217;.<\/p>\n<p>The band \u2013 comprising Karen O, Nick Zinner and Brian Chase \u2013 were the musical guests on the September 30 episode of the talk show, where they performed the &#8216;Cool It Down&#8217; cut the same day of the album&#8217;s release.<\/p>\n<p>With Karen O positioned on top of a faux and fiery rock, Yeah Yeah Yeahs delivered an electric, pulsating performance under cover of smoke and strobes.<\/p>\n<p>Check out the performance below:<\/p>\n<p><div class=\"ast-oembed-container\" style=\"height: 100%;\"><iframe loading=\"lazy\" title=\"Yeah Yeah Yeahs - Burning\" width=\"500\" height=\"281\" src=\"https:\/\/www.youtube.com\/embed\/TgCz9OJH2TY?feature=oembed\" frameborder=\"0\" allow=\"accelerometer; autoplay; clipboard-write; encrypted-media; gyroscope; picture-in-picture\" allowfullscreen><\/iframe><\/div>\n<\/p>\n<p>The release of fifth studio album &#8216;Cool It Down&#8217; marked the outfit&#8217;s first album in nine years, after the release of &#8216;Mosquito&#8217; back in 2013.<\/p>\n<p>Yeah Yeah Yeahs marked the album&#8217;s announcement with the release of the Perfume Genius-featuring single &#8216;Spitting Off The Edge Of The World&#8217;.<\/p>\n<p>They followed that with the release of another single, &#8216;Burning&#8217;, and debuted the album cut &#8216;Lovebomb&#8217; at a show in Chicago earlier this month.<\/p>\n<p>In a five-star review of &#8216;Cool It Down&#8217;, <em>NME<\/em>&#8216;s Erica Campbell noted how the release saw Yeah Yeah Yeahs \u201cfocus on a new imaginative future\u201d.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cWith &#8216;Cool It Down&#8217; the trio disregard expectations with ease, bursting through conjectures with tracks that make the apocalypse sound fun.\u201d<\/p>\n<p>Having announced headline shows back in March, Yeah Yeah Yeahs made a return to the UK live stage back in June, adding more dates to the run before it kicked off to meet demand.<\/p>\n<p>In May, the group teased US shows in a novel way when they utilised sky-writing and tennis balls to spell out \u201cYYY\u201d.
