Free 32GB DDR5 memory kit with the newest Ryzen 7 and Ryzen 9 series

US retailer is giving away $190 worth of DDR5 memory with select Ryzen 7000 CPUs.

MicroCenter is now making a compelling offer on Ryzen 7000 CPUs, but only in the United States and only with in-store pickup. The company is offering a free 32GB memory kit with purchases of any Ryzen 7 or Ryzen 9 7000 processors. The kit is dual 16GB configuration of DDR5-5600 memory with CAS Latency of 36. This is a G.Skill Flare X5 series with built-in EXPO profiles.

In other words, both the Ryzen CPUs and the DDR5 memory are brand-new products that have only been available for weeks (memory) if not days (CPU). The memory alone is worth 189 USD. With Ryzen 7 7700X purchase, this means that the CPU cost would drop to 210 USD.

What is important is that Ryzen 5 7600X is not included into this promotion, but all Ryzen 7 and Ryzen 9 SKUs are. Furthermore, customers may also get additional $20 off their purchase if they select “compatible eligible motherboard”. So, it is a bit underwhelming that the cheapest AM5 CPU is not included, but one can only guess what kind of offers will be available next month along with AMD B650 motherboard launch.

Unfortunately, we do not see any such deals at other retailer websites, not to mention other countries which are now struggling with US Dollar conversion and relatively not as great prices for PC components overall.
