TVB by Pax Romana in White Plains and Chutney Masala in Irvington are among 18 restaurants across New York and its surrounding areas that are on the list for the first time.<\/p>\n<p class=\"gnt_ar_b_p\">Bib Gourmand restaurants offer a full menu of a starter, main course and dessert, making it possible to order two courses and a glass of wine or dessert for $49 or less (tax and gratuity not included).<\/p>\n<figure class=\"gnt_em gnt_em_img\"><\/figure>\n<p class=\"gnt_ar_b_p\"><strong class=\"gnt_ar_b_al\">New in town:<\/strong>Old school family-style Italian opens in Peekskill<\/p>\n<p class=\"gnt_ar_b_p\"><strong>Insider news:<\/strong> Sign up for the free lohudfood newsletter<\/p>\n<p class=\"gnt_ar_b_p\"><strong>Bronxville:<\/strong> La Casa Bronxville get Michelin nod<\/p>\n<p class=\"gnt_ar_b_p\">Here&#8217;s what the inspector notes from each restaurant say:<\/p>\n<p class=\"gnt_ar_b_p\"><strong>TVB by: Pax Romana (Italian-American cuisine)<\/strong>&#8220;There is a classic rusticity to the setting, not unlike its cuisine, which focuses on Roman-inspired items. Chef Cristian Petitta prepares some of the best pinsa in town, its puffy and crispy crust topped with a well-balanced tomato sauce, mozzarella and basil, full stop.&#8221;<\/p>\n<figure class=\"gnt_em gnt_em_img gnt_em_img__inset\"><img class=\"gnt_em_img_i\" style=\"height:400px\" data-g-r=\"lazy\" src=\"https:\/\/i0.wp.com\/www.gannett-cdn.com\/presto\/2022\/06\/07\/PWES\/02b1006e-c61f-4182-9ca2-3321114fdc68-chutney_1.jpg?ssl=1\" srcset=\"https:\/\/www.gannett-cdn.com\/presto\/2022\/06\/07\/PWES\/02b1006e-c61f-4182-9ca2-3321114fdc68-chutney_1.jpg?width=600&amp;height=800&amp;fit=crop&amp;format=pjpg&amp;auto=webp 2x\" decoding=\"async\" alt=\"Keema pao at Chutney Masalas in Irvington, basically ground beef with an assortment of spices.\" data-recalc-dims=\"1\"\/><\/figure>\n<p class=\"gnt_ar_b_p\"><strong>Chutney Masala (Indian cuisine)<\/strong>&#8220;This longstanding restaurant in idyllic Irvington is a rather special place, from Chef\/co-owner Navjot Arora. Local, organic produce star in such complex, boldly spiced dishes as bhindi masala (imbued with tangy amchoor) and Punjabi eggplant curry.&#8221;<\/p>\n<p class=\"gnt_ar_b_p\">La Casa Bronxville, open since June 2021, is also a newcomer to the Michelin Guide list.<\/p>\n<p class=\"gnt_ar_b_p\">Michelin, known for informing food lovers about new discoveries, recently announced 30 additions to its New York City selection, with this Westchester Mexican restaurant with its focus on seasonal, sustainably sourced ingredients, the only Westchester addition.<\/p>\n<aside aria-label=\"advertisement\" class=\"gnt_m gnt_x gnt_x__lbl gnt_x__al\"\/>\n<p class=\"gnt_ar_b_p\">The rest of the Bib Gourmands will be released on Oct.  6.
