{"id":86079,"date":"2022-10-03T23:14:53","date_gmt":"2022-10-03T23:14:53","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/harchi90.com\/he-did-not-want-a-funeral\/"},"modified":"2022-10-03T23:14:53","modified_gmt":"2022-10-03T23:14:53","slug":"he-did-not-want-a-funeral","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/harchi90.com\/he-did-not-want-a-funeral\/","title":{"rendered":"&#8216;He did not want a funeral&#8217;"},"content":{"rendered":"<div>\n<aside class=\"single__inline-module alignleft\">\n<\/aside>\n<p>Coolio&#8217;s longtime girlfriend revealed that the late rapper wanted to be cremated \u2014 and nothing more. <\/p>\n<p>Mimi Ivey \u2014 who met Coolio in 2004, but began dating the rapper in 2011 \u2014 opened up to DailyMail about his end-of-life wishes, and the rumors about his infidelity. <\/p>\n<p>The exotic dancer, chef and entrepreneur told the UK outlet that she \u201cdropped to her knees\u201d and \u201ccollapsed\u201d when she learned that her 59-year-old longtime lover was found dead on the bathroom floor of a friend&#8217;s home in Los Angles on Sept.  28. <\/p>\n<p>\u201cI just remember all of the air and life coming out of my body,\u201d she said.  \u201cI was outside, getting ready to take my son to football practice.\u201d<\/p>\n<p>On the instructions he gave his family before his death, Ivey said, \u201cI&#8217;m respecting his wishes.  He wanted to be cremated.  He did not want a funeral;  he did not want a memorial service.
