Now, actress Issa Rae is lashing out at how Ezra Miller is catered to in Tinseltown.<\/p>\n<p>In a new interview with Elle, Issa Rae bluntly said, <mark style=\"background-color:#ffffff\" class=\"has-inline-color has-vivid-red-color\">\u201cI&#8217;m gonna be real, the stuff that&#8217;s happening with Ezra Miller is, to me, a microcosm of Hollywood.  There&#8217;s this person who&#8217;s a repeat offender, who&#8217;s been behaving atrociously, and as opposed to shutting them down and shutting the production down, there&#8217;s an effort to save the movie and them.\u201d<\/mark><\/p>\n<p>After sitdowns with Miller, Warner Bros.  is still moving forward with <em>The Flash<\/em>which stars Ezra Miller as Barry Allen, a role they played in <em>Batman v Superman: Dawn of Justice<\/em>, <em>Justice League<\/em> and more.<\/p>\n<p><mark style=\"background-color:#ffffff\" class=\"has-inline-color has-vivid-red-color\">\u201cThat is a clear example of the lengths that Hollywood will go to save itself and to protect offenders,\u201d<\/mark> said Rae. <mark style=\"background-color:#ffffff\" class=\"has-inline-color has-vivid-red-color\">\u201cSo, don&#8217;t do that, and women may be able to thrive.\u201d<\/mark><\/p>\n<p>Issa Rae, who gained popularity with her YouTube series <em>Awkward Black Girl<\/em> and created HBO&#8217;s well-liked <em>Rap Sh!t<\/em>also spoke out against the post-#MeToo Hollywood, saying, <mark style=\"background-color:#ffffff\" class=\"has-inline-color has-vivid-red-color\">\u201cIt feels like we&#8217;re regressing, depressingly so.  There are just too many enablers for there to be real change.  People have to be held accountable.  There have to be legitimate consequences.\u201d<\/mark><\/p>\n<p>Issa Rae has been quite busy as of late.  other than <em>Rap Sh!t<\/em>Rae also appeared in BJ Novak&#8217;s directorial debut, <em>vengeance<\/em>.  Next year, she will play a Barbie in Greta Gerwig&#8217;s <em>Barbie<\/em> and voice Jessica Drew\/Spider-Woman in next year&#8217;s <em>Spider-Man: Across the Spider-Verse<\/em>.<\/p>\n<p>What do you think about Issa Rae&#8217;s comments regarding Hollywood&#8217;s treatment of Ezra Miller?
