Stray Kids has become the only artist to top the Billboard 200 with more than one album this year!<\/p>\n

On October 16 local time, Billboard announced that Stray Kids’ new mini album \u201cMAXIDENT\u201d had debuted at No. 1 on its famous Top 200 Albums chart, which ranks the most popular albums in the United States.<\/p>\n

\u201cMAXIDENT\u201d is Stray Kids’ second album to top the chart following their previous mini album \u201cODDINARY,\u201d which debuted at No. 1 back in March.<\/p>\n

With this new achievement, Stray Kids has become the only artist to debut two albums at No. 1 on the Billboard 200 this year\u2014and the first to achieve the feat since Taylor Swift in 2021.<\/p>\n

Additionally, Stray Kids is now the first K-pop artist in history to top the Billboard 200 with both of their first two chart entries. (To date, \u201cODDINARY\u201d and \u201cMAXIDENT\u201d are Stray Kids’ only albums to enter the chart.) Stray Kids is also only the second K-pop artist ever to top the Billboard 200 more than once, following BTS.<\/p>\n

According to Luminate (formerly MRC Data), \u201cMAXIDENT\u201d earned a total of 117,000 equivalent album units during the week ending on October 13. The album’s total score of 110,000 traditional album sales\u2014marking the fourth-biggest US sales week of any album released in 2022\u2014and 7,000 streaming equivalent album (SEA) units, which translates to 9.61 million on-demand audio streams over the course of the week.<\/p>\n
