Colorado will face Chicago on Opening Night for the fourth time since relocating to Denver (also 2003-04, 2010-11 and 2021-22). The Avs will begin their season at home for the fifth straight year and seventh time in the last eight campaigns. The team opens the season with a back-to-back set for the first time since the 2007-08 season when they played Dallas at home and at Nashville the following night to start the campaign.
The Avalanche and Columbus Blue Jackets will face off in a pair of regular-season games at Nokia Arena in Tampere, Finland, on Friday, Nov. 4 and Saturday, Nov. 5 as part of the NHL’s Global Series.
Colorado’s longest homestand is five contests from Dec. 13-21 and its longest road trip is four games (4x – Oct. 22-29, Nov. 29-Dec. 5, March 13-18 and April 4-9). The club will be away from Ball Arena from Oct. 22 through Nov. 9, but that trip technically includes a home game as part of the Global Series.
Single-game tickets for the preseason and regular season go on sale on July 18 at 10:00 am at ColoradoAvalanche.com. Partial Deposits are on sale now by calling the Avalanche Sales Office at 303.4AVS.NHL.
All 82 games can be heard on the Altitude Radio Network, Altitude Sports Radio 92.5 FM or 950 AM. Altitude TV information will be announced at a later time.
