Shanna Moakler knows ex-husband Travis Barker is in good hands amid his hospitalization.
“Thank you to everyone who has reached out with concern to my ex and father of my children,” the former model, 47, told Page Six in a statement, two days after Barker, 46, was rushed to the hospital in Los Angeles.
Moakler – who shares son Landon, 18, and daughter Alabama, 16, with the Blink-182 drummer – then gave a shout-out to her ex’s new wife, Kourtney Kardashian.
“I know he is in great hands and surrounded by loving support and the best medical teams available and his beautiful wife Kourtney.”
She continued, “I pray for a speedy recovery and for the comfort of my children as I know they are very concerned and worried.”
Moakler concluded her statement by telling us Barker has “beat the odds” numerous times.
“I know with his support system he will do it again,” she added. “I will always be there for him and my children.”
Back in 2008, Barker survived a horrible plane crash that killed four people and left him with third-degree burns on over 65 percent of his body. Ten years later, he was rushed to the hospital again after doctors found blood clots in his arm.
Barker married the former Playboy model in 2004 before going their separate ways in 2008. Despite their split, Barker has remained close to Moakler’s oldest daughter, 23-year-old Atiana De La Hoya, she shares with Oscar De La Hoya.
As Page Six previously reported, the Blink-182 drummer was first rushed to West Hills Hospital and Medical Center on Tuesday before being transported to Cedars-Sinai Medical Center in Los Angeles for additional care. Kardashian, 43, was by his side.
Barker was diagnosed with pancreatitis, according to TMZ, after his pancreas became inflamed following a recent colonoscopy procedure. He was allegedly suffering from “extreme stomach pain” before being brought in for treatment.
Alabama has been by her dad’s side amid the recent health scare, snapping a photo with the drummer for Instagram Wednesday night.
“Thank you guys for all of the prayers and love,” she captioned a pic. “I appreciate you & love all of you.”
Atiana also recently thanked fans for their well-wishes on behalf of her stepdad.
Meanwhile, Landon – along with new girlfriend Charli D’Amelio – enjoyed a night out in New York City as his father recovered, attending Machine Kelly’s Catch Steakhouse afterparty Tuesday night following MGK’s show at Madison Square Garden.
